Spherion, in partnership with our client, a progressive manufacturer of agricultural implements, snow and ice removal equipment, are looking for experienced welders for these temp-to-hire first shift opportunities.
Attention to Detail: s need to make clean lines and cuts when welding. Paying attention to the job at hand is necessary.
Dexterity: Welders work with their hands, and need to be steady during the welding process.
Welders must weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
Troubleshooting Skills: Welders should recognize flaws in welds or structural imperfections in the metal and be able to fix accordingly.
Requires flexibility and proficiency in different styles of welding. Welders must take direction and constructive criticism well.
We are looking for self-motivated and reliable employees.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Ability to read a tape measure
Past welding experience
Strength: MIG welders often need to lift or hold heavy pieces of metal in place while welding.
Stamina: MIG welders can expect to work 10 hour days, Monday- Thursday.
Technical Skills: Welding equipment requires technical expertise, as does reading blueprints and understanding how the final product should look.
