We are looking for a Senior Global Commodity Manager- Electronics to help us achieve our goals. In this position, you would work within the Honeywell Corporate Electronics-EMS Centre of Excellence (EECoE) in supporting our Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) strategic business unit working on strategic procurement initiatives.
You would be responsible for developing, communicating, and executing the commodity strategy throughout the organizations by planning, organizing, and controlling strategic activities surrounding the acquisition of electronics for Honeywell Building Technologies including management of key supplier relationships. You would work closely with the EECoE Category Managers, and business units Operations, Engineering, and Product Management teams as they work to implement Supply Chain Management strategies that are competitive enablers for our business, by providing the highest performing and lowest total cost of ownership supply solutions. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, and export / import regulations. Up to 25% travel may be required.
Responsibilities include:Managing performance, commercial terms and strategic relationships with all semiconductor, passive, and distribution suppliers.Development & execution of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) covering productivity, delivery, quality, and lead time improvement for selected commoditiesExecuting successful supplier transitions and implementing consignment, stocking, and 3PL solutions with suppliers to improve overall supply flexibility and responsiveness.
