Connecticut glass company with an outstanding reputation is seeking a skilled Glazier.

Install glass in interior glass walls and doors, curtain wall and store front systems, windows, skylights, glass railings and doors, while maintaining the highest safety and quality workmanship standards.

Replace, smooth and select glass for various projects. Handle and set large pieces of glass.

Provide world-class customer service

Measure and layout openings for frame installation

Determine glass specifications by studying work orders and blueprints

Load and unload materials

Perform warranty and non-warranty service repairs

Fabricate and install metal sashes and moldings for glass installation, using aluminum or steel framing

Employer provides:

PPE for Covid-19 protection including gloves, masks and hand sanitizer to all employees and require that all employees follow social distancing guidelines.

Other PPE provided includes: Fall protection, glass handling gloves, safety glasses, face shields, hard hats and other items as needed.

Pay and Benefits:

Salary is depending on experience between $65,000-$75,000

Job Requirements:


  • Connecticut FG-2 license
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Able to read and work with blueprints and specifications
  • Have a working knowledge of door hardware
  • Maintaining safe driving habits and hold a clean drivers license in accordance with company policy
  • Experience and certification to operate both boom and scissor lifts
  • Ability to work in harmony and in a professional manner with others and take instructions from field foreman / supervisor and job superintendents
  • Background check and drug and alcohol testing required
