Role EDI Analyst Duration 12 Months Location Bloomington, MN Description This role could be a strong BA with EDI background who has been exposed to some level of development. This role is more mapping the EDI data, not pure development, would be on a team of (4) at the client site. Skills Required Experience andor knowledge of IBM B2B Integrator (aka IBM Sterling) bull Good planning, organizational, interpersonal and verbalwritten communication skills bull Experience working within a structured project methodology environment bull Demonstrated project leadership skills andor a high degree of specialized expertise bull Positive team-oriented outlook and perspective bull Able to contribute from day one, learn quickly if need be, and adapt to change bull Able to work well within deadline requirements bull Able to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motion bull Able to sit in front of a computer for a minimum of two hours before taking breaks Responsibilities bull Setup and maintain EDI trading partnerships from End to End bull Analyze, develop, and exchange EDI specifications with trading partners bull Assist in negotiating trading partnerships by providing analysis of capabilities bull Map EDI transactions with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator mapper for proper translation of transmissions with partners and internal processes (EDIFACT, X12, XML) bull Manage connections with trading partners (VAN, AS2, SFTP, FTP, HTTP) bull Provide support for questions and issues surrounding the transmission and receipt of EDI transactions bull Assist IT project teams in understanding requirements, impact, and testing of EDI transactions bull Perform other duties as assigned or required
