CDM Smith's CEI team is seeking a Manager I of Construction CEI Services to be based in Dallas, Dallas, Houston or San Antonio, Texas. This position will contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:

o Performing Business Development / Marketing efforts

o Project / Construction Management of CEI projects

o Proposal development and response

o Leading local CEI group operations

o Taking responsibility for an important segment of very extensive and highly diversified engineering/scientific programs, critical to overall CDM Smith objectives

o Planning and organizing programs

o Performing advisory and consulting work for CDM Smith as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area of considerable novelty and importance

o Possibly being assisted on individual projects by other engineers/scientists or technicians

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 10 Years of experience in construction or Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and 15 years of construction experience or a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and 15 years of experience of construction experience or 22 years of construction experience in lieu of degree. PE desired. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualified in TxDOT Local Government Project Procedures

• TxDOT Design-Build project experience is a plus

• Past CTRMA experience a plus
