The Assistant Chief Inspector is directly responsible to the Chief Inspector and responsible for ensuring compliance with the conditions and restrictions set forth in the Companys Air Carrier Operating Certificate, General Maintenance Manual, Repair Station Quality Manual and Company issued Operations Specifications.. Major duties include but are not limited to:. Is a member of the Company CASS Program and participates in all CASS Activities.. Responsible for assisting the Chief Inspector with the development, implementation and administration of the Inspection Program as set forth in the company manual.. Responsible for the development, implementation and administration of the Flammable Locker Program as set forth in the company manual.. Responsible for assisting the Chief Inspector with the development, implementation and administration of the Airworthiness Release Procedures as set forth in the company manual.. Responsible for assisting the Chief Inspector with the development, implementation and administration of the Certification of Conformity Procedures as set forth in the company manual.. Responsible for the development, implementation and administration of the Storage of Aircraft Procedures as set forth in the company manual.. Responsible for assisting the Chief Inspector with the development, implementation and administration of the Approved and Acceptable Data and Engineering Procedures as set forth in the company manual.. Responsible for the development, implementation and maintaining compliance of the Receiving Inspection Program as set forth in the company manual.. Responsible for assisting the Chief Inspector with the development, implementation and maintaining compliance of the Weight and Balance Program as set forth in the company manual.. Responsible for assisting the Chief Inspector with the development, implementation and maintaining compliance of the Shelf Life Program as set forth in the company manual.. Responsible for assisting the Chief Inspector with the development, implementation and administration of the Non-Compliance Control Program as set forth in the company manual.. Responsible for the development, implementation and administration of the Engine Trend Monitoring System as set forth in the company manual.. Responsible for assisting the Chief Inspector with the development, implementation and maintaining compliance of the Tool Calibration Program as set forth in this manual.. Responsible for assisting the Chief Inspector with the development, implementation and maintaining completion of the Major Repairs and Alterations Program as set forth in this manual. This includes submission of the FAA Form 337 when applicable.. Responsible for assisting the Chief Inspector with the development, implementation and maintaining compliance of the Service Difficulty Program as set forth in the company manual. This includes submission of Service Difficulty Reports.. Responsible for maintaining compliance with the Company produced parts procedures set forth in the company manual.. Coordinate with the FAA FSDO and other Federal Aviation Administration offices regarding Quality Control issues.. Ensure each aircraft added to the Operations Specifications is conformed according to applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and the Company manuals.. Conduct review of conformity data when completed and submitted by the Director of Maintenance (DOM) or designee.. Review of Biweekly FAA Airworthiness Directives for applicability to the Company fleet.. Conducts RAMP Inspections of Company aircraft.. Assists in the development and implementation of Company GMM and MTLM Manuals.. Ensure the Company maintains the standards set forth in its Quality Policy.. Other duties as assigned by the Chief Inspector.. Qualifications:. Hold a valid Mechanic?s Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.. Have 18 months of experience in maintaining aircraft as a certificated mechanic of the same category and class as the certificate holder uses or maintains.. 18 months supervisory experience in a 14 CFR Part 135 or 145 environment is preferred.. Must read, write, speak & understand the English language.. Proficient in using tools, test equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned.
